EURO-Profile half cylinder CONDOR

CONDOR’s European-profile security cylinders, characterized by a universal so-called “European” profile, consist of a one-piece nickel-plated brass body at the center of which rotates a DIN-compliant cam moved by the movement of a 17-pin tumbler, allowing more than 7.5 million combinations:

• 5 active mains (included the first pin in tempered steel)
• 5 moulded anti-picking end-plates (included the first pin in tempered steel)
• active pins on the floor (snake) with anti-bumping and anti-picking fake access
• 2 passive pins with 5 positions

For added security , the cylinder is not friction-locked, that is, if a key is inserted into the pawl on the inside, it cannot be opened from the other side, unless the emergency function is engaged, which allows the lock to be unlocked even if a key is inserted from the other side, thanks to the friction-locked mechanism. It is equipped with 5 master keys (with blue heads) and 2 yard keys (with black heads). The special feature of the cylinder lies in the fact that all 7 keys are active, and the two yard keys can be deactivated only thanks to a special on/off key.

Thanks to the central reinforcement and to the special pre-cut pre-cut weakening for an early breakage it is ensured an high resistance to the tear. Special hardened steel pins, found in both the front and back of the cylinder, to put ahigh resistance to drilling while steel pins and anti-rust springs allow high resistance to wear and corrosion. The shape pins, besides, allows to prevent the key bumping. The computerized reversible point key, thanks to the long barrel can be used alsowith cylinder protections.

For proper installation, it is necessary to use cylinder guards equipped with an anti-drill pad with 4.5 mm key passage. The cylinder is manufactured by the company M&C and distributed on the Italian territory by the company OMR Srl.
