Pomolink – The motorized knob for European profile cylinders

Pomolink is the smart motorized knob for security doors that installs on the cylinder you already have, in five minutes, in total autonomy. Open with your smartphone, manage access remotely, always know who enters and when. The mechanical key always works-it doesn’t replace your cylinder, it turns it into a smart device.

Installation in five minutes, in total autonomy

Pomolink mounts on the European cylinder you already have, on the inside of the security door. You don’t change anything, you don’t lose any security certification. The mechanical key continues to work all the time-just flanked by something much smarter.

To install it correctly, you need to know two things about your cylinder.

The type of cylinder:

• Key-key cylinder – has a key hole on both sides. Pomolink engages the key inserted on the inner side. Works with emergency function and non-friction cylinders-MOIA recommends the emergency function for the best experience in every situation. You can test yours right away: open the door, insert the key on the inside and leave it in place, then try opening from the outside. If the lock responds normally, you have a friction cylinder.
• Key-code cylinder – has the key on the outside and a rotating wing nut on the inside. The wing nut is removed and replaced with the plastic adapter included in the package. No additional requirements.

The position of the cylinder relative to the door panel:

• Protruding cylinder – attaches with the four included screws using a standard screwdriver.
• Door flush cylinder – you use the special high tack double-sided adhesive included in the package. You apply, press for 1-2 minutes, done.

In the case of the tang cylinder, after the adapter is mounted, the method of attachment is chosen according to the protrusion: screws if it protrudes, double-sided tape if it is flush.

Open with your smartphone – or with your voice

Once installed and paired via the app, Pomolink responds to smartphone actuators via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). It opens and closes from the app, with a widget on the home screen, or with a voice command. The connection can be optimized on five modes:

• Fast – response in about 3 seconds, for those who open several times a day
• Balanced – about 6 seconds, 10% battery saving
• Slow – about 10 seconds, 20% savings
• Adaptive – learns usage habits and adjusts itself
• Saving – activates only when there is a knock on the door (3-4 knocks); ideal for vacation homes or occasional accesses

Rechargeable battery: up to six months

The built-in lithium-ion battery provides up to 120 days of battery life with intensive use (10 cycles per day), and up to six months with normal home use. Charging is via USB-C in about three hours. Fast charge chargers are not supported – any standard 5V USB charger or power bank is used.

When the charge drops below 20%, the device warns with audible and visual signals well in advance. Below 10% it still maintains the opening function. In any case, the mechanical key always works.

Autolock: closes by itself, as you wish

Pomolink automatically closes all sockets after a time that can be set from 15 to 240 seconds. You pull back the door and think no more about it. With semi-automatic locking, just turn the knob slightly in the closing direction-Pomolink detects the movement and completes the motorized cycle by itself.

For those who want even more precise control: theautolock smart allows you to schedule automatic locking on specific time slots-for example, every night at 11 p.m. regardless of anything else.

Access management: up to 37 users, zero physical keys

Pomolink supports up to 37 users with differentiated profiles, managed entirely by the app. Two masters can coexist with full management autonomy – useful for couples, roommates or co-owners.

Permanent access can be set for each user or limited to specific days and clockwise times. For occasional access, there are temporary digital keys (e-keys): links with defined start date, expiration date and clockwise times, to be sent via WhatsApp, SMS or email. The recipient does not register or install anything – he opens the link in front of the door and logs in. Access revocable at any time, even remotely.

Every opening and locking is recorded in the full report, with timestamp and user identity. You always know who entered and when.

In practice:

• Short rentals and B&Bs – self-contained check-in, code that expires at checkout, history for each stay. No keys to hand over, retrieve or lock.
• Housekeepers, caregivers, service staff – active access only on agreed days and hours. No key copies, complete record of every entry and exit.
• Vacation homes and second homes-access to guests remotely, e-key that automatically expires on the appointed date.
• Professional firms and small offices-employees with limited clockwise access, technicians with disposable e-keys.
• Families-always active access for family members, notifies whenever someone opens the door.

The ecosystem: three devices, one management

Pomolink is the center of an ecosystem designed to grow with your needs.

The WiFi Smart Bridge connects Pomolink to the Internet and unlocks full remote control: opening and locking from anywhere in the world, real-time notifications, remote user management. It supports up to four Pomolinks on a single device. With the Bridge active, temporary codes for the keypad can be generated and sent remotely, without being present.

The Bluetooth keypad adds five-digit PIN code access – no phone, no key. It mounts on the wall, activates by bringing your palm close, and supports up to 100 codes with custom permissions. Ideal for non-smartphone users, service staff, and employees with regular access.
